Rick Mangram and Izabella Woronko are two of the most talented, dynamic and fun instructors on the Chicago scene. They can be seen at Zocalo every Monday night and at Lalo's on Maxwell Street later in the week. They were instrumental in solidifying Salsa Mondays and Fridays at Images while it was still around. If you have been in their class you already know what I am talking about. If you haven't, you are in for a treat!. Rick and Izabella are bringing their technique, energy, love of the dance and EZ to understand teaching style to the Willowbrook Ballroom on Saturday April 11 for a 3 Hour-Salsa Intensive plus a 1-hour practice session (with DJ) afterwards where you can get special attention from the instructors as well as practice what you just learned. The workshops start at 12 noon and go until 3:15. The practice session goes from 3:15 until 4:15.
While this workshop is geared for the intermediate through advanced dancer, beginners who have a solid understanding of the Salsa basics are welcome to attend and learn at a faster but understandable pace.
Men's and Ladie's styling, footwork, connection,technique, moves and combinations will all be taught in a progressive format with adequate breaks in-between.
The workshops are $30.00 in advance or $35.00 after Wednesday April 7, 2009
